Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 4/12/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and Serge Ibaka have all been ruled out for Oklahoma City. With nothing to gain or lose, the Thunder will rest their three main players for the playoffs. This news will open up a lot of value on their roster.

Last time the three of them sat out, Enes Kanter went crazy and posted 33 points and 20 rebounds. With that monster game coupled with his modest $5,600 price tag, Kanter will be highly owned tonight.

Cameron Payne, Randy Foye, and Dion Waiters will all see an uptick in both minutes and usage. It seems too easy to say almost everyone on the Thunder is in play tonight, but the usage rates that are sitting tonight are crazy high -- Westbrook 33.1%, Durant 31.9%, and Ibaka 18.2%.

Carl Landry has been ruled out of Tuesday's contest for the 76ers. Landry has actually been playing well recently and with him out tonight Jerami Grant and Nerlens Noel will benefit the most.

Landry has sat out the last two games for Philadelphia, and Grant posted a 22 fantasy point performance and then followed that up with a 36-point outing. Noel had just come back from some missed time of his own and scored 39 and 43 fantasy points. Grant will cost you $5,200 tonight on FanDuel, and Noel is coming in at $6,800.

The To-Be-Determined List

Carmelo Anthony is questionable for the Knicks' season finale. With Kristaps Porzingis already ruled out for his seventh consecutive game, Derrick Williams will already see more minutes than normal. If Anthony does sit out, Williams should see even more playing time. Williams has had a fantasy value of five or higher (points per $1,000 in salary) in five of his last six games.
