Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) ruled out for Nets' opener Wednesday versus Pistons
Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) will not play in Wednesday's season opener versus the Detroit Pistons.
Hollis-Jefferson missed the entire preseason due to a strained left adductor suffered over the summer, but he was able to return to practice recently, so it shouldn't sideline him for too long. Caris LeVert should play heavy minutes and there should be a boost for Treveon Graham and Jared Dudley with RHJ out.
numberFire's models project Hollis-Jefferson to average 14.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 29.1 minutes per game this season.
