Kyrie Irving goes for 50 points in his debut for Brooklyn
Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving scored 50 points in a narrow 126-127 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Irving's skills were on full display in his debut for the nets. Irving played 38 minutes and went 17-33 from the floor for 50 points. He added 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 block, coming up just shy of a double/triple-double. His 50 points were the most ever by a player in their debut for a team. Next up for Irving is a meeting with the New York Knicks on Friday.
