LeBron James (groin) on first-half minute limit Thursday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (groin) will only play the first half on Thursday against the Sacramento Kings.
James and Danny Green (rest) will start but only play the first half on Thursday afternoon as the Lakers have already locked up the No. 1 seed in the West. Anthony Davis (knee), Kyle Kuzma (rest), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (foot), and Alex Caruso (neck) have all been ruled out. Talen Horton-Tucker will make his first NBA start and should see as many minutes as he can handle. Quinn Cook is also in line for a large workload and will be a candidate to start the second half.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Lakers are favored by 3.5 points on Thursday. The matchup has a 223.0-point over/under.
