Anthony Davis (foot) out Thursday for Lakers, plans to play Friday
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (foot) will not play on Thursday versus the Utah Jazz, but he plans to play Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Davis, who is still listed as doubtful for Thursday, has been sidelined since February 16 with a foot sprain. LeBron James (ankle) is also targeting a return on Friday. Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk would take the biggest hits if Davis and James make it back to the court, but it would impact the entire Lakers team. Dwight Howard is expected to start at center on Thursday.
Howard is numberFire's top value play on Thursday's five-game slate. He has a $4,000 salary and our models project him to score 29.5 FanDuel points in 25.4 minutes.
