Anfernee Simons (ankle) could return Wednesday for Trail Blazers
Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Anfernee Simons (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Simons might be able to play for the first time since the All-Star break. That would likely mean Cam Reddish or Matisse Thybulle move back to the bench. There would also be fewer minutes for Keon Johnson and Shaedon Sharpe.
Simons is averaging 31.5 FanDuel points in 35.5 minutes per game this season and he has the second-highest usage rate (25.0%) on the Trail Blazers. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Blazers’ implied total (117.25) is No. 3 out of 18 active teams today and the game total (233.0) is the highest on the board.
