Deandre Ayton (knee) possibly playing Friday for Portland
Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (knee) could return for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ayton missed a ninth straight game on Thursday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, but Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups is hopeful his big man will be able to return for the second leg of the back-to-back. If Ayton is cleared, there will be less work for Duop Reath, Ibou Badji, and Jabari Walker.
Ayton has a $7,200 salary on Friday and numberFire's models project him for 28.7 FanDuel points over 28.2 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Trail Blazers have the lowest implied total of the day (103.0).
