Heat suggest Dion Waiters, Luke Babbitt, Josh McRoberts won't play Wednesday
Miami Heat guard/forward Dion Waiters (ankle), small forward Luke Babbitt (hip) and forward/center Josh McRoberts (foot) are unlikely to play Wednesday versus the Washington Wizards.
Head coach Erik Spoelstra said Wednesday's group will be the same one from Monday's game, indicating that Waiters, Babbitt and McRoberts will again be on the sidelines tonight. All three claim to be available to play, so it looks like Spoelstra will have the final say.
The Heat -- who rank ninth in numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings -- are still fighting for a playoff spot as they prepare for their final game of the regular season, but our models give them only a 36.2 percent chance of securing their ticket. That's well below the Chicago Bulls (81.6 percent) and Indiana Pacers (82.2 percent), who check in at 17th and 18th, respectively, in our rankings.
