Cavaliers' Cedi Osman to start if J.R. Smith (back) can't go
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward Cedi Osman will start in the event that J.R. Smith is unable to give it a go with a sore back.
Smith missed shootaround this morning, but the Cavaliers hope that rest will help his back to loosen up prior to tonight's matchup against the Chicago Bulls. With Dwyane Wade set to come off the bench for the first time this season, coach Tyronn Lue probably wants to see how that would work out. Ultimately, Wade could see more minutes while Kyle Kover takes on some of Smith's sharpshooting opportunities.
A rookie, Osman has yet to play more than 8 minutes in a game and has 0 points and 1 assists in 2 games played this season. He costs $3,000 and is projected for 0 FanDuel points at this time.
