Miami's Dion Waiters scores 16 following two-game absence
Miami Heat guard/forward Dion Waiters scored 16 points on 14 shots in his return to action Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns.
Waiters missed the team's previous two games as he joined his family for the birth of his daughter. He was back in the starting lineup and played a key scoring role in the Heat's 126-115 win. Over 26 minutes, Waiters ended the game 6-of-14 from the floor and 2-of-4 from three as he added three assists and three rebounds to his ledger. But his six turnovers held him down in DFS scoring.
Waiters' 18.1 FanDuel points came up well short of 5x value and his projected output of 29.1 FD points. He'll look to flip the script on Friday against the Utah Jazz. Waiters is projected for 29.1 FD points in 34.5 minutes.
