Spurs' legend Manu Ginobili announces his retirement from the NBA

San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Manu Ginobili has announced his retirement from the NBA.

What It Means:

Ginobili hangs 'em up after a historic 23-year basketball career, 16 of those years with San Antonio. He finishes with the most steals, third-most games played, fifth-most points in franchise history. Coupled with the departure of Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker this offseason, the Spurs will start the next chapter in the team's history in 2018-19.

The sure-fire Hall of Famer finishes his career with averages of 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while posting a 58.2% true shooting percentage.
