When people think North Carolina and star Tar Heel players, they usually don't think of this team or their star player, Sean May. Well, the team went 33-4 and won a national title, for which May was named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

The same can be said for his regular season. May put up per-game averages of 17.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, en route to 7.7 win shares at a rate of .311 per 40 minutes of play. But, the big man didn't do it all himself.

Rashad McCants, Raymond Felton, Marvin Williams and Jawad Williams all scored in double digits and contributed 19.9 win shares of their own. Surrounding one main scorer with four complementary scorers was a recipe for success for UNC.
