Last year, Sindarius Thornwell, Jordan Bell, Johnathan Williams and Luke Maye earned Most Outstanding Player honors for their respective regions. Thornwell was the player to have the biggest coming-out party during the extremely high pressure of the NCAA Tournament.

Thornwell is but one of many players to put their individual stamp on an NCAA Tournament over the years. Before him, there were guys like Kris Jenkins (remember him?), Tyus Jones and Shabazz Napier. And before them, there was Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward and Stephen Curry. There's a lot of NBA names there, but regardless of what they've gone on to accomplish they will always be remembered for their shining moments and performances during the Big Dance.
