Kristian Doolittle should continue his early season domination against Stanford. Who else should we target on tonight's slate?

College basketball season is upon us, and we have a six-game slate tonight.

March Madness is months away, but you can get in all the college hoops hype by playing daily contests at FanDuel today. If you've played NBA DFS before, it's quite simple: pick a total of eight players -- four guards, three forwards and one utility spot you can use for either position. Stay within the $50,000 salary cap and field the team you think will score the most fantasy points.

Where scoring differs from NBA is in the blocks and steals categories, with each worth two FanDuel points apiece rather than the three you get in daily NBA contests.

Now that you're in the know, we can attack today's main slate, which locks at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Which players should you be targeting, and why?

Guards

Samir Doughty, Auburn ($7,300) - The senior is averaging 18.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 blocks/steals through five games. Despite recording 78.7 FanDuel points in the Auburn Tigers' last two games, Doughty's price tag has barely moved. With an implied team total of 82 (leads the slate by 7.5 points), Doughty is one of the top guards on the slate.

Mason Jones, Arkansas, ($7,000) - The Arkansas leader contributes in every section of the box score. Through five games, Jones is averaging 17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.8 blocks/steals in 30 minutes of action. A pace up game with a Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets' team that has struggled to take care of the ball should prove beneficial to Jones (59th in Ken Pom's adjusted tempo ranking).

Isaiah Joe, Arkansas ($6,900) - Joe is a valuable fantasy player, as he's on the floor for nearly the entire game and shoots a TON. The sophomore is averaging 36 minutes per game and 14 shots per game. As noted above, Arkansas has a matchup with the fast-paced Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Joe has excelled in fast-paced matchups this season. He scored 33 real-life points against Texas Southern (14th in Ken Pom's adjusted tempo ranking) and 29 real-life points against Rice (34th in Ken Pom's adjusted tempo ranking).

J'Von McCormick, Auburn ($6,300) - The Auburn point guard has been on a tear in the Tigers' last two games. In those two contests, McCormick recorded 16 points, 24 assists, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals in 47 minutes of action. He should have no problem stuffing the stat sheet on Monday against the fast-paced New Mexico Lobos (19th in Ken Pom's adjusted temp ranking).

Bubba Parham, Georgia Tech ($4,200) - Parham led Virginia Military Institute in scoring last season (21.4 points per game) before transferring to Georgia Tech. The junior played 26 minutes, scored 10 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists in the Yellow Jackets last game. There's a good chance he'll be forced to log big minutes with Jose Alvarado nursing an ankle injury.

Desi Sills, Arkansas ($4,200) - The sophomore starter is averaging 7.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks/steals in 28.4 minutes this season. However, Sills has been ice-cold shooting the ball early this season. Sills' shooting percentage is down 12.1% from a season ago. If he can start making shots, his production will crush his current price tag.

Forwards

Kristian Doolittle, Oklahoma ($7,400) - The preseason All-Big 12 selection was challenged to become more aggressive on the offensive end this season by head coach Lon Kruger. Doolittle seems to have received that message loud and clear. The senior is averaging 16.5 points per game, which ranks second on the team. Doolittle is also averaging 10 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals through five games. He's one of the top plays on the slate.

James Banks III, Georgia Tech ($7,100) - Banks III was a chalky selection in last week's matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs. Nevertheless, the Yellow Jackets' big man was held to 16.3 FanDuel points. Banks III was reportedly battling the flu in that game and should be 100% healthy on Monday night. Consequently, his price tag on FanDuel fell from $7,900 to $7,100. Take advantage of the pricing discount while you can.

Jalen Hill, UCLA, ($6,800) - Hill has emerged as a major force on both ends of the court this season for the UCLA Bruins. The sophomore big man leads the Bruins in scoring (15.2 points per game), rebounding (9 rebounds per game), and blocks (1.6 blocks per game). His upside is massive, as he's surpassed 34.6 FanDuel points in three out of the last four games.

Carlton Bragg, New Mexico ($6,800) - The former Kansas Jayhawks' big man is off to a fast start for the New Mexico Lobos. He's averaging 11.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, .7 assists, and 2.8 blocks/steals in only 25.7 minutes of game play, which equates to 1.16 fantasy points per minute. With a competitive matchup expected against Auburn, Bragg's minutes should increase to around 29-30. That's more than enough to pay off his current price tag (assuming value is 4x a player's price tag).
