College Football Conference Championship Saturday is here! FanDuel's college football DFS main slate on Saturday includes eight games.

In case you're unfamiliar with how it works, you can check out the rules and scoring on FanDuel, where you can hit the lobby each week to see the full array of slates and contests being offered.

As for the basics, your roster consists of a quarterback slot, two running backs, three wide receivers (which also includes tight ends), and one "Super FLEX". In the Super FLEX spot, you can insert one player from any position, including quarterbacks.

Here, our goal is to help you field a roster full of fantasy goodness, and in true numberFire fashion, we'll use our DFS projections, game projections, and market share report to tackle as many slates as possible in the lead-up to the College Football Playoff. In this piece, we are breaking down Saturday's main slate, which locks at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Let's look at which players are in great spots as well as identify some players with low salaries who will allow you to roster the high-salary players.

Quarterbacks

Dustin Crum, Kent State ($10,700) – Dustin Crum has lit up MAC foes this season. Through eight conference games, Crum is averaging 253.8 passing yards, 55.9 rushing yards, and 2.25 total touchdowns per game. The matchup with the Northern Illinois Huskies is pristine. The Huskies rank 114th in total defense nationally. They're allowing 452.4 passing yards per game. Moreover, the defense has allowed an eye-opening 52 total touchdowns this season.

Rocky Lombardi, Northern Illinois ($9,700) – Lombardi missed the season finale, so it's worth monitoring his status. This is the first game on the slate. and therefore, we should know Lombardi's status prior to lock. The former Michigan State signal-caller gets another crack at the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday. In the two teams' first matchup of the season, Lombardi tallied 532 passing yards and three touchdown passes. He also added 22 rushing yards on nine carries in that game. Like Northern Illinois, Kent State has one of the nation's worst defenses.

Stetson Bennett, Georgia ($8,200) – Bennett rarely gets rostered despite his low salary. That has been due to the Georgia Bulldogs' dominance. The Bulldogs have won by 24-plus points in five straight games. The matchup with Alabama Crimson Tide could keep Georgia's offense engaged. Bennett has accounted for at least two touchdowns in four straight games. He also provides some dual-threat upside. The senior has recorded 240 rushing yards and one touchdown on 38 attempts this season. He's a good source of salary relief at quarterback.

Others to Consider:
Sam Hartman ($11,500), Kenny Pickett ($11,000), Desmond Ridder ($10,500), Spencer Sanders ($8,400), Chase Brice ($8,100), Gerry Bohanon ($7,600)

Running Backs

Jerome Ford, Cincinnati ($9,400) – Despite missing one game in early November, Ford has returned to his lead running back role in the Cincinnati Bearcats backfield. The senior has recorded 20 carries in each of the last two games. He has tallied 17 rushing touchdowns in 11 games played this season. I will note that the Houston Cougars have one of the nation's best run defenses. That should keep Ford's popularity in check -- which makes him a solid tournament target.

Marquez Cooper, Kent State ($8,800) – Cooper could be in line for a monster day. The sophomore has a workhorse role and the matchup with Northern Illinois is juicy. Over the last four games, Cooper is averaging 23.3 carries, 129.3 rushing yards, and 1.5 touchdowns per game. He should find plenty of running room on Saturday. Northern Illinois ranks 120th in rushing yards allowed per game (217.3). They have been throttled for 30 rushing touchdowns through 12 games.

Camerun Peoples, Appalachian State ($6,900) – Peoples won't project well and he won't be popular. The Appalachian State Mountaineers have several productive backs that cloud this situation. However, I think Peoples makes for a fine tournament play. The bruising back has recorded 25 rushing touchdowns over the last two seasons. Additionally, Peoples' workload was eased over the last two games. That could have been due to two straight blowout wins. If his usage spikes back up on Saturday, he could push for 20-plus carries.

Clint Ratkovich, Northern Illinois ($6,100) – Ratkovich is the Huskies starting fullback. He is often utilized as the wildcat quarterback in short-yardage and goal-line situations. The senior has found pay dirt in five straight games. He has racked up 11 total rushing touchdowns this season. Furthermore, the matchup with Kent State is an outstanding spot for the Northern Illinois backfield. Kent State has surrendered 30 rushing touchdowns through 12 games.

Others to Consider:
Hassan Haskins ($9,500), Abram Smith ($8,300), Jaylen Warren ($8,200), Greg Bell ($7,400), Zamir White ($7,300), Jay Ducker ($7,100), Israel Abanikanda ($6,000), Trey Sanders ($6,000; if Brian Robinson Jr. is out), Antario Brown ($5,400)

Wide Receivers

Jordan Addison, Pittsburgh ($10,000) – Addison has been unstoppable this season. The Pittsburgh Panthers star wide receiver has drawn an eye-opening 120 targets through 12 games. The sophomore leads the nation with 17 touchdown receptions in 2021. Further enhancing his appeal is a matchup with Wake Forest's vulnerable pass defense. The Demon Deacons have surrendered 22 touchdown passes through 12 games.

Dante Cephus, Kent State ($8,800) – Cephus is quarterback Dustin Crum's top target in the passing game. The speedy wide receiver has eclipsed 80 receiving yards in six out of the last seven games. Additionally, he's drawn an impressive 103 targets this season. Considering his aDoT is 12.1, Cephus should draw at least a few deep balls on Saturday. That's really appealing against Northern Illinois' struggling pass defense. The Huskies are allowing an average of 8.01 yards per pass attempt.

Cole Tucker, Northern Illinois ($6,900) – Tucker is severely under-salaried especially if Rocky Lombardi returns to the lineup. The senior missed five games during the middle of the season. Since his return from injury (three games), Tucker has tallied 21 receptions, 252 receiving yards, and one touchdown on 32 targets.

Keshunn Abram, Kent State ($6,800) – Abram won't draw nearly as many targets as his teammate Dante Cephus. However, like his teammate, Abram is drawing most of the targets downfield (13.2 aDoT). I expect the primary pass catchers from Kent State (Dante Cephus) and Northern Illinois (Trayvon Rudolph $8,700) to be popular to roster on Saturday. Targeting a secondary wide receiver in this game that has a great chance to shoot-out could seperate our lineups from the masses.
