Andy Dalton placed on Bengals' injured reserve with thumb injury, done for 2018
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been placed on season-ending injured reserve with a thumb injury.
Dalton suffered the injury in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns and was unable to return. Jeff Driskel completed 17-of-29 passes for 155 yards and 1 touchdown after replacing Dalton, so the switch could wind up being a lateral move for the offense. The Bengals draw the Denver Broncos at home in Week 13.
Dalton averaged 16.9 FanDuel points over 11 games for the Bengals this season, throwing for 233.3 yards per outing on a 61.9 completion percentage with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
