Miles Sanders (illness) returns to full Panthers practice Thursday
Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders (illness) was a full practice participant on Thursday for Week 18 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sanders returned to a full session after sitting out Wednesday with an illness. He will likely continue to play behind Chuba Hubbard on Sunday in the Panthers' final game of the season. Sanders has only recorded 16 touches over the past three games.
numberFire's models project Sanders for 5.4 carries, 25.3 rushing yards, 1.4 receptions, and 7.2 yards in Week 18. The Panthers are taking on a Tampa Bay defense that has the fourth-best run defense in the league this season, according to our opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings. They are also allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs.
