Bryce Brown 'favorite' to lead Seahawks' backfield
Seattle Seahawks running back Bryce Brown is the "favorite" to lead the backfield in touches down the stretch, ESPN reporter Sheil Kapadia said.
Kapadia cautions Brown is far from a sure thing but said he "should get the first shot at carrying the load." Christine Michael would be the next logical option, but Kapadia believes it is possible he is not even active for Week 15. Fred Jackson will handle third-down work, and fullback Derrick Coleman is unlikely to be heavily involved. Brown is the only option worth using in must-win situations.
Our metrics currently project Brown to get 15.52 touches in Week 15, with Michael seeing the ball 4.05 times. The Seahawks running game gets a mouth-watering matchup in Week 15. The Browns rank 31st in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play.
