Adrian Peterson has ankle sprain, 'good' for Washington Thursday night
Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) has a Grade 1 high-ankle sprain and Grade 2 low-ankle sprain.
Despite the diagnosis, Peterson claims to be "good" for Thursday night's Week 8 matchup against his former Minnesota Vikings team. Derrius Guice (knee) and Chris Thompson (toe) are both banged up, so Washington may be left with Wendell Smallwood in the backfield if Peterson is unable to play.
Peterson is currently the RB30 in numberFire's Week 8 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 8.9 FanDuel points, at a cost of $5,700.
