Cardinals' David Johnson (ankle) out in Week 9
Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson will not play on Thursday night in the team's Week 9 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Johnson missed last week's game with the ankle injury, and after missing practice this week, he'll miss out once again. He was listed questionable entering game day, but Johnson is obviously still a ways away from being back to full health. The committee of Kenyan Drake and Alfred Morris will carry the workload, as Chase Edmonds is also out.
In six-plus games this season, Johnson has 77 carries for 300 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 30 catches for 315 yards and three scores.
