Matt Ryan (ankle) cleared to return for Falcons Week 10 against Saints
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) will return for Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Dan Quinn confirmed.
What It Means:
Ryan sat out Week 8 and then had the Falcons' bye to recover after he suffered a sprained ankle in Week 7. Matt Schaub will return to clipboard duties on Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Atlanta is a two-touchdown underdog in this one, but that could actually allow for some garbage-time stat-padding. Ryan threw for over 300 yards in six straight games with 15 touchdowns before leaving early in Week 7.
