Bills select defensive end A.J. Epenesa with 2020's 54th overall pick
The Buffalo Bills selected Iowa defensive end A.J. Epenesa with the 54th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Epenesa will bolster a Bills' defense that finished last season ranked 9th overall by numberFire. Epenesa recorded 14 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks last season. The Bills use their first pick in the 2020 draft to fortify a strength, after using their 1st round pick in a trade for stud wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Epenesa was Pro Football Focus' second-ranked edge defender in this year's draft class. He earned a grade of 84.3 last season, 33rd at his position.
