Jets agree to trade safety Jamal Adams to Seattle

The New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a trade involving Jamal Adams and a pair of first-round picks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

What It Means:

Brian Costello of the New York Post was first on the deal. Adams, who has wanted out of New York all offseason, finally got his wish as he's shipped out West to join Russell Wilson and Co. The Jets paired Adams with a 2022 fourth-round selection to get first-round picks in 2021 and 2022, along with a 2021 third-round pick and safety Bradley McDougal.

In 14 games last season, Adams had 75 tackles with 10 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown. He earned an 87.9 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.
