Detroit Lions defensive back Desmond Trufant avoided a significant hamstring injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
What It Means:
Trufant reportedly has a chance to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, which would provide a boost to a secondary that surrendered three passing touchdowns to the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Our models expect the Lions' defense to allow 28 points to Green Bay in Week 2.
