Buccaneers' Carlton Davis misses practice with knee soreness
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Carlton Davis (knee) did not practice on Thursday.
Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles said Davis was a "little sore," so they held out their top corner. They will re-evaluate Davis on Friday and see if he's ready for Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers. D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson would stand to benefit if Davis is unable to play. They both had over 100 yards in Week 2 when the Buccaneers had a healthy secondary.
Davis has earned the 16th-best coverage grade from Pro Football Focus out of 55 corners with at least 400 defensive snaps this season. The Buccaneers D/ST is 10th in numberFire's Week 10 fantasy rankings.
