Texans' Randall Cobb (toe) could miss the remainder of the season
Houston Texans wide receiver Randall Cobb (toe) could miss the remainder of the 2020 season.
Cobb, who is currently on the injured reserve with his toe injury, may not be able to return this year and is reportedly considering season-ending surgery. With the 4-8 Texans' most likely over already, it may make sense for the team to start looking towards next year and not rush players back from injuries.
The Texans' once-stocked receiver room is looking thin these days, with Cobb sidelined, Kenny Stills released and Will Fuller suspended. Cobb averaged 3.8 targets per game over the course of the season, but there's an opportunity for production for someone besides Brandin Cooks to capitalize on; both journeyman receiver Chad Hansen and third-year Keke Coutee crested 100 yards in Week 13.
