Benny Snell totals 107 yards, scores for Steelers in spot start

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell rushed 18 times for 84 yards and 1 touchdown, and caught 3 passes (4 targets) for 23 yards, in a 27-17, Week 15 upset loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

What It Means:

Snell totaled more yards (107) in Monday's spot-start than in Weeks 12 and 13 (103) when he also filled in for James Conner (quad). A solid chunk of his rushing production came on a 29-yard burst in the third quarter that helped set up a field goal. Conner is expected to return for Week 16 against the Indianapolis Colts, so Snell will likely revert back to a reserve role.

Snell scored 18.20 FanDuel points on Monday. He's averaging negative-0.14 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry this season, compared to 0.07 for Conner. The Colts rank 13th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the running back position this season.
