Bears' David Montgomery continues impressive stretch in win over Jacksonville
Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery had yet another strong performance Sunday in the team's 41-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Montgomery is on an absolutely torrid run right now. With his performance Sunday, the 23-year-old has now racked up over 100 all-purpose yards while scoring a touchdown in five straight games. According to ESPN's Matthew Berry, that's the first time a running back has done that since Arian Foster in 2014. On the day, Montgomery had 23 carries for 95 yards and a score while also adding 2 catches on 2 targets for 26 yards. With the Bears playing for their postseason lives in Week 17, expect another game of high volume for him.
With 19.1 FanDuel points, Montgomery currently ranks 9th among all Week 16 rushers. Right now, our models project him for 14.42 next week against the Green Bay Packers.
