Falcons' Qadree Ollison considered 'true' backup
Atlanta Falcons running back Qadree Ollison is Mike Davis' "true backup," writes Scott Bair of the Atlanta Falcons official website.
Ollison is positioned to take over the feature back role if Davis were to suffer an injury, according to Bair. The 2019 fifth-round pick has just 24 career touches and all but one of them came during his rookie year. Per Fantasy Football Calculator, Ollison isn't being drafted in 12-team formats. The other backs in the mix are undrafted rookie Javian Hawkins and Cordarrelle Patterson, whom is playing for his fourth team in five seasons.
Ollison is the RB68 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings and our models project him for 56.6 carries, 238.5 rushing yards, 9.0 receptions, 12.2 targets, 62.3 yards, and 2.03 touchdowns.
