Josh Jacobs scores twice as Raiders defeat Ravens
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs rushed 10 times for 34 yards and 2 touchdowns in Monday's Week 1 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Jacobs out carried Kenyan Drake 10-6 and both backs finished with 11 touches a piece. The pair of touchdowns came from two and 15 yards out. It looks like Jacobs is going to be the Raiders' early-down back this season while Drake handles pass-catching duties. They will work together again in Week 2 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jacobs scored 16.5 FanDuel points in Week 1 and he ranked 36th in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry, among the 49 backs with at least five carries. Jacobs is the RB27 in numberFire's Week 2 fantasy rankings and he has a $6,500 salary on the main slate. The Steelers ranked in the bottom half of the league in Week 1 in Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per carry.
