Patriots' Brian Hoyer headed to locker room in Week 4; Bailey Zappe to make professional debut
New England Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer was taken to the locker room in the first quarter of the team's Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Hoyer took a sack in the Patriots' first drive of the game and landed hard on his side. After spending some time in the blue medical tent on the sidelines, he headed to the locker room under his own power with some of the Patriots' medical staffers.
With Hoyer headed to the locker room, Bailey Zappe will make his first career appearance at quarterback. The fourth-round pick was up-and-down during the preseason, but led all of college football a season ago with 5,967 yards and 62 touchdown passes.
