Eagles reportedly sign running back Rashaad Penny on Tuesday
The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly signed running back Rashaad Penny.
Penny will play for his second career team after 42 appearances in five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. With Miles Sanders currently a free agent, expect Penny to see an early down role in a run inclined Philadelphia offense ranked fourth last season in rush play percentage (49.7%).
On 61 touches last season, Penny accounted for a 70.2 Pro Football Focus offensive rating while recording 362 scrimmage yards, two touchdowns, 13 forced missed tackles, and 4.23 yards per attempt after contact.
