Adam Thielen to sign three-year deal with Carolina
Ian Rapoport reports that wide receiver Adam Thielen will sign a three-year contract with the Carolina Panthers.
Thielen spent the first nine years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings, but was released by the team at the beginning of the offseason. He will now sign a three-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, who have a need at the position after trading away former first-round pick D.J. Moore to the Bears in their deal for the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Thielen scored a whopping 10 touchdowns in the 2021 season despite being limited by injuries, and caught 70 passes for 716 yards and 6 touchdowns in a down year in 2022. His reliable presence should be a boon for whichever quarterback the Panthers draft in April.
