Corey Davis announces retirement after six seasons

New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis announced his retirement on Wednesday.

What It Means:

Davis will end his NFL career after he logged 78 games with the Jets and Titans. Expect Allen Lazard to step in as New York's second wideout while Randall Cobb and Mecole Hardman should also see more snaps.

Lazard's currently yearly projection includes 52.2 receptions for 633.2 yards and 4.6 touchdowns on 82.6 targets.
