Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) not expected to play in Broncos' Week 1 tilt
Adam Schefter reports that Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) is not expected to suit up for the team's Week 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jeudy was able to avoid a stint on the injured reserve despite suffering a hamstring injury in the final weeks of training camp, but is not expected to play in Week 1. The Broncos' passing game should now run through Courtland Sutton, while 2023 second-round pick Marvin Mims takes on a potential starting role.
Our models project Sutton, who has a $5,900 salary on FanDuel, to score 8.4 FanDuel points in Week 1, with 3.7 catches for 47 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. The Broncos are expected to lean towards the run more often this season, though Sutton could absorb heavy volume while Jeudy remains sidelined.
