Jameis Winston to join Browns with 1-year contract
The Cleveland Browns have reportedly signed quarterback Jameis Winston to a one-year deal on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Despite Joe Flacco's success under center last season, Winston will likely take over as Cleveland's backup quarterback role with a deal reportedly worth up to $8.7 million.
On 47 attempts last season, Winston accounted for a 56.3 Pro Football Focus rating while producing 25 completions for 2 touchdowns and 264 yards.
