Lions' David Montgomery (thigh) DNP on Wednesday
Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (thigh) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 3's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Montgomery said it would take “a couple weeks” for his injury to heal but was officially labeled "day-to-day" by Dan Campbell. His status should be monitored throughout the week, but his absence from practice on Wednesday points toward an absence in Week 3.
The Lions are 3.5-point favorites over the Falcons in Week 3. Their implied team total of 25.0 points is the 11th-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
