Joe Burrow (calf) on track to play Monday for Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) will try and play on Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, according to multiple reports.
Burrow is still listed as questionable, but he's reportedly feeling better and will suit up if he avoids a setback. That is obviously tremendous news for Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, and the entire Bengals organization. Jake Browning will start if Burrow winds up being ruled out.
Prior to the start of Week 3, the Rams had the No. 15 passing defense and No. 21 overall defense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics. They were also allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks (11.9). Burrow has a $15,000 salary on the single-game slate Monday.
