Roschon Johnson (concussion) DNP Wednesday for Bears
Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday for Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Johnson remains in the concussion protocol after exiting early last Thursday against the Washington Commanders. Khalil Herbert (ankle) and Travis Homer (hamstring) are also sidelined, so D'Onta Foreman is in line to be the Bears' lead back on Sunday. Darrynton Evans and Khari Blasingame could also be involved if Johnson and Herbert are inactive.
The Vikings are allowing the ninth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs this season and their adjusted run defense ranks 11th in the NFL, per numberFire's adjusted metrics. Their pass defense, meanwhile, ranks 27th, so the Bears may have more success throwing than running on Sunday. Johnson is averaging twice as many Rushing Net Expected Points per carry as Herbert on half the workload this season.
