Bears sign tight end Gerald Everett to 2-year deal on Tuesday

The Chicago Bears have agreed to a two year contract with tight end Gerald Everett.

What It Means:

After a two year stint with the Chargers, Everett will join his fourth career team. Expect Everett to play a complementary pass catching role behind Cole Kmet.

On 70 targets last season, Everett ranked 26th among tight ends with a 65.6 Pro Football Focus rating while producing 51 receptions for 411 yards and 3 touchdowns.
