Colts' Anthony Richardson undergoing shoulder surgery
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
Richardson was initially expected to miss 4-8 weeks due to his Grade 3 right AC joint sprain, but his rookie season is now over after just two complete starts. Gardner Minshew will continue to start in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns and beyond.
Richardson averaged 25.8 FanDuel points in the two games he finished. Overall, he completed 50 of 84 pass attempts for 577 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The No. 4 overall pick also rushed 25 times for 136 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 3 fumbles (1 lost). Among the 35 quarterbacks with at least 50 dropbacks this season, Richardson is 10th in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt (0.13).
