Christian McCaffrey (oblique) does not practice again for 49ers Friday
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey did not participate in practice on Friday.
What It Means:
It's a second straight DNP for the superstar running back, who is dealing with an oblique injury suffered on Sunday. The 49ers play on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings, so fantasy managers will have to keep a close eye ahead of Sunday's roster locks. If McCaffrey can't go, Jordan Mason and Elijah Mitchell will handle the backfield.
If McCaffrey were to play, our models would project him for 79.6 rushing yards, 40.2 receiving yards, 1.0 total touchdowns and 20.4 FanDuel points.
