Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) placed on Steelers' injured reserve; miss at least 4 games
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth has been placed on the injured reserve list Saturday.
Freiermuth was ruled out for Week 7's game against the Los Angeles Rams on Friday due to the hamstring injury suffered last week. Now, the team has placed him on injured reserve, meaning the tight end will miss at least 4 games. In the meantime, expect Darnell Washington and Connor Heyward to handle tight end duties.
In 4 games this season, Freiermuth has 8 catches on 13 targets for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns.
