49ers' Christian McCaffrey (oblique) trending towards playing in Week 7
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that "all signs point" to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) playing on Monday in the team's Week 7 game versus the Minnesota Vikings.
McCaffrey suffered an oblique injury during the 49ers' Week 6 game that knocked him out of that game, but it sounds like the fantasy star has been able to recover well during the week and is now trending towards playing on Monday night. The veteran logged a limited practice session on Saturday and reportedly felt "great" afterwards, implying that he should be good to go against the Vikings.
It seems unlikely that the 49ers would curb McCaffrey's workload in this situation, so he's still likely to post one of the top fantasy outings of the week. The Vikings' defense has given up some massive performances already this season, putting McCaffrey and the rest of the healthy 49ers skill position players in a position for success on Monday night.
