Tyrod Taylor making another start for Giants Week 8
New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor will start in Week 8 against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Taylor will make a third straight start in place of Daniel Jones (neck). He played well last week in a win over the Washington Commanders, but the Jets have a much tougher defense. Darren Waller (hamstring) led the Giants with 8 targets last week and Jalin Hyatt was second with 5 targets.
Tyrod is the QB21 in numberFire's Week 8 rankings and our models project him for 14.5 FanDuel points, with 193.6 passing yards, 0.87 touchdowns, 0.6 interceptions, and 28.1 rushing yards. The Jets' pass defense ranks 8th based on numberFire’s opponent-adjusted NEP model.
