Rams' Matthew Stafford (thumb) DNP on Wednesday
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (thumb) will not practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 9's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Stafford will miss practice on Wednesday as he deals with a UCL sprain that forced him to exit Week 8's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He is considered day-to-day, and Los Angeles has reportedly ruled out placing him on IR. The Rams will give Stafford until "right up before the game" to determine if he can play on Sunday. If he can't, Brett Rypien could get the start for Los Angeles.
The Rams are 3.0-point underdogs against the Packers in Week 9. Their implied team total of 17.75 points is the fourth-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
