Vikings' Jaren Hall (concussion) exits in Week 9; Josh Dobbs to take over
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) will not return to Sunday's Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Hall absorbed a massive hit while trying to rush for a touchdown in the first quarter, causing his teammates to call for medical staff almost immediately afterwards. The young quarterback was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power, but has been ruled otu with a concussion. With Hall in the medical tent, recently-acquired quarterback Josh Dobbs will take over at quarterback when the Vikings retake the field.
Hall, making the first start of his NFL career, appeared to be settling in a bit before suffering his injury. He completed 5 of 6 passes for 78 yards and rushed for another 11 yards on scrambles.
