Allen Lazard (knee) expected to play Monday for Jets
New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (knee) is expected to play on Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Lazard was added to the injury report on Saturday after being limited at practice. Randall Cobb and Tyler Conklin could play larger roles if Lazard is limited or out. Lazard drew a season-high 6 targets last week and matched his season-best with 3 receptions for 45 yards.
Lazard has an $8,500 salary on Monday's single-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 6.7 FanDuel points, with 4.9 targets, 2.9 receptions, and 40.5 yards. The Chargers have the third-worst pass defense in the NFL, according to our opponent-adjusted NEP model, and they allow the third-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers.
