Giants' Tyrod Taylor (ribs) could be done for season
New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) might not return this season, per head coach Brian Daboll.
Taylor will be eligible to return from injured reserve in Week 14 after the Giants' bye, but it sounds like he might not be ready by then. Daniel Jones tore his ACL on Sunday and is done for the season, so undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito will likely start in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys. Matt Barkley is expected to be called up from the practice squad and the Giants may also bring in outside help.
Taylor is leading the Giants with 0.05 Passing Net Expected points per attempt this season. Jones is averaging negative-0.27 and DeVito is averaging negative-0.50 Passing NEP per attempt.
