Houston's C.J. Stroud remains in concussion protocols Thursday
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion protocols) did not practice on Thursday ahead of the team's Week 15 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Stroud has yet to practice after suffering a concussion during the Texans' Week 15 loss to the Jets, but could possibly still get cleared from the concussion protocols in time for Sunday's game. If he can't suit up, expect Davis Mills to make the start.
Stroud has found enormous and immediate success in the NFL and is already up to 3,651 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and just 5 interceptions through his first 13 starts in the league. His absence would be a brutal blow to the Texans' once-potent offense.
